This Cookie Policy explains how JLPUB Blog (www.jlpub.blog) uses cookies and similar technologies. We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working, understand which guides help readers, and track affiliate referrals. You can control or turn off non-essential cookies at any time.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your browser or device. They help the site remember things — like your preferences or whether you've seen a notice — and let us measure how pages are used. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and tracking parameters in links.
Cookies we use
| Type | Purpose | Can you turn it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Basic site functions, security and remembering your cookie choice. | No — the site needs these to work. |
| Preference | Remembering settings such as display options. | Yes |
| Analytics | Counting visits and seeing which pages are popular, using aggregated or pseudonymised data. | Yes |
| Affiliate tracking | Letting partners know a visitor came from our site when you click an affiliate link. | Yes, through your browser settings |
We don't use cookies to collect passwords, OTPs, payment details or your gaming account information. We have no access to your JLPUB account.
Analytics
Analytics help us understand which guides are useful — for example, whether readers finish the JLPUB register and login guide or look for more help in the FAQ. We use these insights to improve content, as described in our editorial policy. We don't use analytics to identify you personally.
Affiliate and third-party cookies
When you click an affiliate link to the official JLPUB platform, that platform or its tracking partner may set its own cookies to record the referral. These cookies are controlled by the third party, not by us, and their privacy and cookie policies apply.
Read our affiliate disclosure to understand how referrals work. Other external sites we link to, such as those in our responsible gaming page, may also set cookies under their own policies.
How to manage cookies
You're in control. Here's how to manage cookies:
- Use our cookie notice (where shown) to accept or decline non-essential cookies.
- Change browser settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge to block or delete cookies.
- Use private browsing so cookies are cleared when you close the window.
- Clear cookies regularly from your browser's privacy settings.
Blocking all cookies may affect how some parts of the site work. Blocking cookies on our site does not affect cookies set by the JLPUB platform — manage those in your browser or on that site. Mobile users can also check the tips in our JLPUB app guide.
Legal basis and your rights
We handle cookie data in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). Strictly necessary cookies are used for our legitimate interest in running a secure site. Non-essential cookies are used based on your consent, which you can withdraw anytime. Full details of your rights are in our privacy policy.
How long cookies last
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay for a set period — usually from a few days up to 12 months — or until you delete them. Third-party affiliate cookies follow the partner's own retention period.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law changes. The updated date below shows the latest version. Please also review our terms and conditions and disclaimer.
